From somewhat humble beginnings of 12 cars in 1957 - NRC have expanded to boast in excess of 700 vehicles - including Ireland's first and only electric taxis.

Over our 54 years of service we have been at the forefront of revolutionising the taxi industry in Ireland. 1960 saw us introduce the first radio controlled taxi company; 30 years later in 1990 we havd the first computerised booking system.

NRC positioning as ‘thought leaders’ in the taxi industry has been paramount to its history of successful growth. And pivotal to this success has been its unparalleled investment in state-of-the-art technology and staff training.

Recent investment in a new purpose-built premises in James’s Street, Dublin, has enabled NRC to double the size of its call centre. NRC now boasts the most modern and sophisticated taxi call centre in Ireland.

NRC systems are continually monitored and updated to include the latest and best technologies. The most recent additions being a real-time on-line booking facility and electronic emailing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reports and invoices. NRC’s technologies allow for scalability and adaptability to all clients’ needs and processes. 

NRC’s customer care ethos runs throughout the whole company, from the call centre, drivers through to administrative staff. This has led to an enviable staff reputation for courtesy, reliability and efficiency.
